Clark Planetarium is gearing up for a few new features in the ATK IMAX Theatre.  From cyberspace to aerospace, Clark Planetarium has something for everyone.  

220px-Tronlegacy_jpgThe highly anticipated sequel to the 1980’s hit TRON will open December 17 in the ATK  IMAX Theatre.  TRON: LEGACY is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam, a tech-savvy 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father, a man once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from his father’s abandoned arcade he finds himself pulled into a world where his father has been trapped for 20 years. Now, father and son must embark on a life-or-death journey across a visually-stunning digital universe.  TRON: LEGACY will play at 1:30 p.m, 4:20 p.m., 7:10 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily and advance tickets can be purchased online.

LOFPoster04_250pxLegends of Flight 3D will open on January 3, 2011.  In Legends of Flight, audiences will strap into the cockpit and experience the flight of legendary airplanes in some of the most breathtaking sequences ever captured on the big screen.  Viewers will witness important milestones at the dawn of a new era in commercial aviation.  Legends of Flight is an educational length feature and is included in our membership program.  Check our website for updates on this film as we move closer to the launch date.

  1. I was wondering if you will be showing “Legacy of Flight” again. We saw it about a year ago and would like to see it again.

  2. I believe the correct title is ‘Legends of Flight,’ which we ran for the first half of 2011. We have no plans to bring this film back to our theatre. I believe it is available on DVD now. Thanks for your question, and please come join us for some of our newer films.
