2016 The Next Giant Leap Fundraising Gala
On October 20, 2016, Clark Planetarium hosts its Next Giant Leap fundraiser as the premier of our newly renovated exhibit space. This opening event will reveal the modernized interior of the planetarium and unveil new, interactive, cutting-edge exhibits that are free to the public.
Clark Planetarium welcomes former astronaut Mike Massimino as the keynote speaker for our Next Giant Leap gala. Mike Massimino performed two servicing missions to the Hubble Space Telescope and teaches mechanical engineering at Columbia University. His presentation will reveal how NASA’s small steps are leading to giant leaps in discovery and how Clark Planetarium’s Next Giant Leap prepares for a whole new age of space exploration.
Tickets are $125 per person, or $200 per couple.
