General Info
Clark Planetarium is open 363 days a year. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day only. We close early on Christmas Eve, and have a regular schedule of programs on New Year’s Eve and most other holidays. Please see our movie schedule for details.
Hours of Operation
Opens at 10:30 AM, 7 days a week;
Closes following the beginning of the last show of the day.
In general, we close Sunday at 6:00 PM, Mon – Wed at 8:00, Thurs at 9:00 PM, Fri & Sat at 11:00 PM.

Prices for show tickets are as follows:
- $8.00 for adults/teens/seniors
- $6.00 for children 12 and under
- $6.00 matinee tickets for adults for programs beginning before 5 pm, except special engagements.
- $6.00 for all 2nd show tickets, for the same person, on the same day.
*Special Engagements include, but are not limited to: IMAX films in their first few weeks after opening; special event lectures; other promotional events. Please check the Shows and Exhibits page for special engagement information.

Parking at the GATEWAY
Convenient underground parking is available at The Gateway.
A public entrance to Clark Planetarium is located in the Summer parking area on both Level 4 (top) and Level 3. An ADA-compliant lift is available only on level 4 access.
Clark Planetarium will validate parking for our patrons at the rate of 3 hours for $1.00. Additional parking fees (up to $2 per hour) apply after the first 3 hours. Validations from other Gateway merchants may reduce potential parking fees. Please pay for parking as you leave the parking lot.
UTA TRAX/Bus Services
Take TRAX to the new Planetarium Stop, at our front door. TRAX service operates during all planetarium operational hours, including late night on Friday and Saturday. Please see TRAX schedules for details and holiday schedule changes.
