Location
Clark Planetarium is open 365 days a year. The Hansen Dome theatre is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and closes early on Christmas Eve. We have a regular schedule of programs on New Year’s Eve and other holidays.

PARKING at the GATEWAY
Convenient underground parking is available at The Gateway.
There is a public entrance to Clark Planetarium from the Summer parking area on both Level 4 (top) and Level 3.
Clark Planetarium will validate parking for our patrons-3 hours for $1.00. Additional parking fees (up to $2 per hour) apply after the first 3 hours. Validations from other Gateway merchants may reduce potential parking fees. Please pay for parking as you leave the parking lot.
There is available free and metered parking on the street, as well as other public pay lots conveniently located nearby.
UTA TRAX/Bus Services
Attention: The TRAX stop in front of Clark Planetarium will be temporarily shut down for construction on the Airport TRAX line from May 6-23. Please exit at the Arena station stop which is just a short walk from the planetarium. There will also be shuttle buses running from Arena Station to SL Central Station every 15 minutes.
Take TRAX to the new Planetarium Stop, at our front door. TRAX service operates during all planetarium operational hours, including late night on Friday and Saturday. Please see TRAX schedules for details and holiday schedule changes.
