Last week eyes were glued to television and the internet as Space Shuttle Discovery reached to the stars for one last time. Maybe you watched the launch and cheered. Maybe you watched and felt a mix of pride and melancholy (I did). Maybe you didn’t watch at all.

A couple of days after the launch, this video shot by software developer Neil Monday showed up on YouTube and has since gone viral. The footage he captured with his iPhone on a commercial jet has been viewed over 3 million times and is an incredible example of being in the right place at the right time.

So go ahead, take a break for a few minutes and click the video link.  It’s definitely worth a watch – and the commentary by the pilot and passengers will bring a smile to your face.
